Present Adventure Update

1 May 2008

Sam has a very valid reason for the lateness of the book: he has secured a job interview in Switzerland with a turbomachinery company. Since he's now waiting for the interview, he can resume working on the book. Not long now! Here is a teaser.

It's Spring'y here now, and thank god it is! I was getting sick of the greyness smothering Germany, the cold, the wind and the rain battering against your spirit (how poetic, how emo). Roasted almond shops have morphed into icecream shops and all the trees are densely green.

I have NOT forgotten to tell you all about France, but it's going to wait until after the book is done. If I was to summarise here, now: France is cheesy and life as a pedestrian is dangerous.

I agree with your summary of France. At least the more commercial parts of it. Life in the small town isn't as cheesy (from what I remember from 9 years ago....damn that was a long time)
